The North part of Wilton has experienced nine separate incidents of vandalism from Thursday, July 4 to Monday, July 9, causing damage of over $2,000, according to Wilton Police.
From Wednesday, July 3rd into the morning of Thursday, July 4, two mailboxes were damaged on Wildwood Road and a car window was smashed on Carriage Road, while two mailboxes were damaged and two cars had smashed windows on Linden Tree, said police.
From Friday, July 5 into the morning of Saturday, July 6, a car window was smashed and a driveway light was smashed on Millstone Road; two cars had windows smashed on Old Wagon Road, according to Wilton Police.
On Sunday, July 7 into the morning of Monday, July 8, a mailbox was smashed on Carriage Road, said police.
All the vehicles were parked on the side of the road at the time of the vandalism and rocks were used to smash the windows.
The Wilton Police Department is asking for information or video on that could help identify the vandals and to call in the information to police at 203-834-6260.
